Pet of the Week: Meet Adhala

Picture From Their Facebook Post
This week’s Pet of the Week is Adhala, a gentle, soft-hearted girl currently waiting for her forever home at the Pennsylvania SPCA Lancaster Center.
Adhala arrived at the shelter as a stray alongside two canine friends, and while much of her past is a mystery, staff believe she may have spent time living outdoors.
Because of that, she’s still learning what it means to be a house dog and will benefit from patient, consistent training as she builds confidence and explores her new world.
She can be timid at first, but once Adhala feels safe, her sweet personality shines through.
She enjoys gentle attention, kind words, and calm affection, and she’s the kind of dog who bonds deeply with the people who give her time and trust. With patience and love, she has all the potential to become a loyal, loving companion.
Adhala dreams of a cozy home - soft beds, quiet moments, and someone who understands that trust takes time. In return, she offers a big heart and plenty of companionship for the right person or family willing to grow alongside her.
Interested in adopting Adhala?
The Pennsylvania SPCA Lancaster Center is open daily from 12–6 PM. Adopters should bring a photo ID, proof of address, and any resident dogs (with vaccination records) for a meet-and-greet.
