The Conestoga River Gets Its Moment - Lancaster Water Week Is Here

The Conestoga River is Pennsylvania's River of the Year, and Lancaster County is marking the occasion in style. The Conestoga River Club organized two public events for Water Week, which runs through Wednesday. On Monday morning, the Club leads fully supported guided paddling tours of the Conestoga, open to all skill levels, with commentary along the way on the river's history, culture, and conservation. On Wednesday, a full-morning keynote event at Lancaster County Central Park - focused on the Conestoga's past, present, and future - brings together community members, conservation voices, and local leaders.
