Lancaster's Bloody Mary Mix Just Beat New York City
Collin Dawkins built something special on Prince Street - and now Brooklyn knows it too. Sunday's Bloody Mary Mix, the Lancaster-made cocktail mix Dawkins launched as an e-commerce venture in 2020, took home the People's Choice Award for Best Bottled Mix at the Bloody Mary Festival held March 21 at BKloft26 in Brooklyn. Sunday's was one of 13 businesses competing, going head-to-head against cocktail mixes from New York City establishments - and won on the public vote. Dawkins is also the founder of Lancaster Beignet Co. on Prince Street, making him one of Lancaster's quietly prolific food entrepreneurs to watch.
