Fans of timeless ’70s and ’80s soft rock have something special to look forward to this winter.

The legendary Little River Band is coming to Lancaster for an evening of classic hits and smooth harmonies, joined by special guests Seals & Crofts 2, at the American Music Theatre.

Known for their polished sound and chart-topping success, Little River Band became one of the most successful bands of their era, earning worldwide acclaim for their melodic songwriting and unforgettable performances. The late Glenn Frey of the Eagles once called them “the best singing band in the world,” a reputation they’ve maintained for decades.

Concertgoers can expect to hear fan favorites like “Reminiscing,” “Cool Change,” “Lonesome Loser,” “The Night Owls,” “Take It Easy on Me,” and “Happy Anniversary,” along with many more.

Adding to the evening’s nostalgia is Seals & Crofts 2, a tribute and continuation of the iconic duo Seals & Crofts. Featuring Brady Seals (cousin of Jim Seals) and Lua Crofts (daughter of Dash Crofts), the group honors the original sound while bringing fresh energy to beloved classics. Their set includes favorites like “Summer Breeze,” “Diamond Girl,” and “We May Never Pass This Way (Again).”

Together, the two acts promise a night filled with harmony, storytelling, and music that defined a generation.

A Little Lancaster History

Did you know that in the late 1800s, Lancaster was one of the leading manufacturing centers in Pennsylvania - producing everything from watches to wagons to early farm machinery?

Back then, downtown was packed with small shops where people would browse for tools, toys, and household goods long before big-box stores existed.

In a way, weekend events like the Adamstown Toy Show still carry that same spirit - neighbors gathering, browsing tables, and finding small treasures you can’t get anywhere else.

It’s one of the things that makes this county feel timeless.

I’m looking forward to the spring when more farmer markets open and mud sales are in full swing.

That’s todays updates,
Andrew From Lancaster Local
